Here we have a brand new 1/5ths, 2.4" scale Foden steam lorry. Built to the 'Pride of Penrhyn' design from a Modelworks kit, this appears to be quite nicely put together. Don't let the modelworks kit thing put you off too much, although there are plenty of slightly 'chunky' features on the engine, the kit built road vehicles were generally much more successfully resolved designs than their railway locos, and once you know what you're doing even the loco kits can be built into very nice models. It appears to only have really been test steamed, and as you can see from the photos everything it in as new condition. The boiler is the usual professional copper silver soldered job, and she can come with a full 4 year hydraulic test and annual steam cert if you require. She runs very nicely on air, and appears timed well.
Quite big for a 2", almost as big as the 3" that we had in last year, and certainly larger than the 2" Claytons.
